Burn it for: Year-round, from bright afternoons to cozy evenings
Dark, resinous, and unforgettable, Ghost of the Woods National Forest is the scent that began as an obsession and grew into a cult favorite. Formerly known as Ghostwood Forest, the fragrance itself remains unchanged — only the name has evolved.
The composition opens with the sharp clarity of pine smoke and juniper, immediately evoking shadowed evergreens. At the heart, cedar bark and balsam weave warmth into the cool air, while fallen pinecones lend a resinous, earthy depth. The result is an atmosphere of shadow and stillness: towering trees, drifting smoke, and the uncanny hush of a forest that feels alive with secrets. Ghost of the Woods is a return to memory, mystery, and the magnetic pull of the wild.
Which size should I choose? +
4 oz | 118 mL: a sweet way to try a new scent, and great for bathrooms and desks. 8 oz | 237 mL: the everyday favorite for bedrooms and offices. 16 oz | 473 mL: made for living rooms and open spaces, and the best value per ounce.
How do I get the best burn? +
On the first burn, let the wax melt all the way to the edge (about 1 hour per inch of width). This prevents tunneling and gives you the strongest scent throw. Trim the wick before every burn (about 1/8 inch for our wood wicks), and burn no more than 4 hours at a time.
What's the free mystery sample? +
Every order of $65 or more gets a surprise sample, hand-picked by us from our fragrance library. You don't choose it. That's half the fun, and it's how many customers find their next favorite.
