The Optimist Candle opens with crisp citrus peel and juniper, lifted by a touch of pink pepper that brings brightness and clarity to the air. Pine needles and sweet sap follow, carrying the quiet scent of the forest inward.
At the heart, roasted coffee and chestnut bring warmth and familiarity - grounding the woods with the comfort of something simple done well.
Ambered resins and dry woods settle beneath it all, softened by vetiver, cashmeran, and a quiet musk.

4 oz | 118 mL: a sweet way to try a new scent, and great for bathrooms and desks. 8 oz | 237 mL: the everyday favorite for bedrooms and offices. 16 oz | 473 mL: made for living rooms and open spaces, and the best value per ounce.
How do I get the best burn? +
On the first burn, let the wax melt all the way to the edge (about 1 hour per inch of width). This prevents tunneling and gives you the strongest scent throw. Trim the wick before every burn (about 1/8 inch for our wood wicks), and burn no more than 4 hours at a time.
