Born in mist and memory, The Great Salish is a creation that has glowed quietly since 2020—becoming not just a candle, but a legend on the shelf. A favorite among those who seek comfort, ritual, and the hush of the woods, it remains one of our most beloved creations.

The obsession in creating a scent to match the smell when the great doors open to greet you when you check in to the Salish, began long ago, perched above falls that speak in whispers. It was there - wrapped in forest fog and firelight—that we spent slow mornings and laughter-filled nights. My daughter, a toddler when we started our traditions there, would alternate between standing out on the balcony breathing in the mist of the falls  and helping her Dad build little fires in the now long gone in suite fireplaces. Memories attached to scents that never fade.

From those moments came The Great Salish: a blend of fragrant evergreens, smoldering embers, and something indescribable - call it nostalgia, or magic. Perfected over years, shared with thousands, and returned to again and again.

It is a hearth in wax form. A lifetime remembered. A story that still burns.
