Burn it for: Fall and winter nights, dinner parties, and a bath with the lights low
The Towne Pump just opened.
It’s the best seat in town.
Pour over in the background. Pine planked floors of the old gas station warming the room just as much as the regulars. Vinyl spins low while plants reach for the transom light. Something in the air you can’t quite place.
This is one of my favorite fragrances I’ve ever created.
It’s here for a short time.
Each Hemlock Falls candle release stands on its own. “They don’t stay long, but they will be back again someday…”
For a little while, we’re including a page from Hemlock Falls with all Towne Pump candle orders. It’s a story you don’t want to miss. 🌲
Read Chapter One: The Towne Pump on Substack, then meet the rest of Hemlock Falls. The full collection opens on Halloween.
Which size should I choose? +
4 oz | 118 mL: a sweet way to try a new scent, and great for bathrooms and desks. 8 oz | 237 mL: the everyday favorite for bedrooms and offices. 16 oz | 473 mL: made for living rooms and open spaces, and the best value per ounce.
How do I get the best burn? +
On the first burn, let the wax melt all the way to the edge (about 1 hour per inch of width). This prevents tunneling and gives you the strongest scent throw. Trim the wick before every burn (about 1/8 inch for our wood wicks), and burn no more than 4 hours at a time.
What's the free mystery sample? +
Every order of $65 or more gets a surprise sample, hand-picked by us from our fragrance library. You don't choose it. That's half the fun, and it's how many customers find their next favorite.

Every order is made by hand in and shipped from the West Hills of Portland, OR. Current processing time is 4–5 business days (Mon–Fri) before your order ships.
