Our coast is not a postcard beach. It is wind, fog and cold water, with forest running right to the edge of the sand. Spruce and shore pine bent by the weather. Driftwood fires. Salt you can taste on your lips.
Coastal fragrance usually means bright and aquatic. Ours tends to be a little wilder: mineral, green and woody, with the forest always close by.
