Mystery Candle: Fall Edition

Our Mystery Candles are small-batch, limited-release pours created from the ever-growing fragrance library here at Great Northern Candle Co.—beautiful oils, unexpected combinations, past favorites, and ideas we’ve been waiting for an excuse to bring to life.

For this release, there is only one guarantee: it will feel like fall.

Think woods after rain, orchard air, spice cupboards, damp leaves, old books, smoke, resin, warm kitchens, mossy trails and all the strange, cozy corners of the season we love most. Your candle may be familiar, completely new, or something that exists only for this particular batch.

The mystery is part of the deal, so scents cannot be chosen, requested, suggested or substituted. We promise to do the matchmaking - our repeat customers will get this, as we make sure to pair something we know you'll love!

Each Mystery Candle is poured with the same materials, fragrance standards and care as our signature collection. These are not seconds, imperfect candles or lesser-quality pours. They’re simply limited creations without a permanent home…yet.

And that’s where you come in.

Mystery scents will disappear when their batch is gone. The only way one earns a place in our regular rotation is by customer demand. If you fall hopelessly in love with yours, tell us. Your feedback may be the reason it gets a permanent home on our site.

Keeping it for yourself is highly encouraged, but Mystery Candles also make particularly good gifts, especially when you want to give someone something beautiful without having to figure out exactly what scent they’d choose.
